Rowan Argentas
A Warrior of Light
A tall, blue lady to put it bluntly. Rowan is a shy but capable adventurer who managed to catch the attention of one Papalymo Totolymo while questing in the Twelveswood. Soon after meeting with the rest of the Scions, she forms a kinship with Urianger, the chronicler and Primal scholar. Using bow and lance, she defeats her foes in combat, but is inquisitive enough to seek learning in magic. By the grace of Hydaelyn she is able to slay Primals, and will stop short of nothing to protect the realm.

Rowan was adopted at the age of five after being found in a rowan tree near the Sylphlands completely bereft of memory. Instead of giving her a name that everyone would ignore, they decided to keep calling her Rowan.
Though both father and son were said to be slain at the battle of Charteneau, rumors circulate that a Bard of Ellant's description had been seen in Gridania, leading Rowan to return to the Twelveswood after taking her adventures elsewhere...
Urianger Augurelt
After realizing that Urianger was the prophet of the Calamity, Rowan gave an awkward thank you that lead to him loaning her the book Aether and Anatomy. From there, the two enjoyed conversations on aetherology and a myriad of other subjects. Despite the ease they felt around the other, both were reluctant to start a relationship, citing things like inter-organizational tensions if they were to break up, or the death of a dear friend. It takes a true separation and some emotional growth for the two of them to decide that, yes, they are dear enough to risk their easy friendship. Luckily for the two of them, it seems they're compatible!
